The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the top 3 of the best countries to live in as a young worker
Depending on where we live, the labor market can be very different from one sector to another. It can therefore be difficult to find a fulfilling career that is also fairly compensated. Lensa looked at job availability, cost of living, rent price for a one-bedroom apartment, and average income to determine which countries are great places to work as a young professional.
Third best annual salary
The United States tops the ranking of the best places to live for young professionals. They are indeed well ranked for multiple factors, including job availability, activities for young professionals and average annual income. However, with good job prospects, plenty of activities and a good salary, the United States also has a relatively high cost of living index.
In second position, we find the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Our Luxembourg neighbors also rank second for job availability and third for average annual salary behind Switzerland and Norway with an average annual salary of 83,512 euros. In addition, Luxembourg has a large foreign population, which means that many different languages are spoken there. Luxembourg is therefore a very culturally diverse country and the transition is potentially easier there.
