Thousands in Hasaké Canton demand physical freedom for leader Öcalan – ANHA | HAWARNEWS
Today, on the occasion of the anniversary of the implementation of the international conspiracy against the leader of Öcalan, the coverage of the inhabitants of the canton of Hasake went on a mass demonstration. Demonstrators carry placards reading: “We will defeat all forms of repression and oppression and free leader Öcalan / Turkey’s fascism is a threat to global security.”
After the silence, when the demonstrators arrived in the area of the Khabur Center for Culture and Art, everyone is pursued to honor the memory of all the fallen heroes and heroines for a minute. Mohammed Khalaf, a member of the Democratic Union Party, then delivered a speech on behalf of the party. In his speech, he denounced the international conspiracy against the leader Öcalan and said: “Thanks to the stubborn spirit of resistance, the spirit of resistance of Imrali, the spirit of resistance of our heroes and heroes in the mountains of Kurdistan, as well as all the peoples of Northeast Asia, we will defeat the attacks of the Turkish occupiers, we will win occupation, leader Abdullah Ocalan will be free!”
Khalaf also said that the international conspiracy against leader Öcalan is a rejection of the Kurds, striking at their will and struggle, erasing their recognition. He collected: “All the peoples of the northeast danger for the option of resisting and countering the threats of the Turkish occupiers until the physical freedom of the leader Öcalan is achieved.”
He also added: “All the people and nationalities living in the north-eastern regions, who went out to this demonstration today, demand the freedom of leader Öcalan.”
For her part, Hasake Canton Council co-chair Samara Abdullah said: “It has been 24 years since the international conspiracy against leader Abdullah Öcalan was carried out. Powers and special services participated in this conspiracy. There was such a blow to the leader because he demanded freedom, precision and effectiveness of justice and persecution.
She also used: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the counterparty, and at a minimum, he should have all the rights that attacks have. The Turkish occupiers, in turn, violate these rights. In addition, the Committee Against Torture also does not deal with its detention debts, which represent the interests of the leader in relation to the heir to Imrali.”

The demonstration ended with chanting of slogans condemning the lockdown against leader Abdullah Ocalan and demanding his freedom.
