The firefighters intervened on the Geneva road, in Clermont, this Sunday, October 9 at the start of the afternoon, following the report of a traffic accident involving a car and a motorcycle occupied by two people. The alert was given at 2:56 p.m.
The motorcycle passenger, a 57-year-old woman, was seriously injured in the shock and evacuated in a state of absolute emergency to Annecy hospital. The driver of the motorcycle, a man aged around 55, was slightly injured and was not treated. The driver of the car, a woman in her twenties living in the village, is unharmed.
Mayor Christian Vermelle and the gendarmes of the Seyssel brigade were also on site. A gendarmerie investigation carried out by the company of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois was opened to determine the circumstances of the collision. According to the first elements, after having marked the stop, the young motorist engaged on the axis when a motorcycle occupied by two people arrived. The shock could not be interrupted.
