The account of the three-year administration of Constantinos Zervas and the next goals for “Thessalonica of 2030”, on the way to the polls
A year before local elections, which are to be erected on October 8, 2023, o Konstantinos Zervas announces, officiallynow next monday on candidacy of for the second time for him Municipality of Thessaloniki.
Although he made it clear very early on that he would be a candidate for him again mayor’s office, on the afternoon of October 10, in an open event, he will stand before the citizens asking for the renewal of trust in his person in order to “create the Thessaloniki of 2023”. Her choice was not accidental, since the staff of Constantinos Zervas, symbolically chose to be a year before the elections. However, the first time that Konstantinos Zervas announced his candidacy for the central municipality in the 2019 elections, the month he had chosen was again October.
The event will take place at foyer of the Music Hall. There, at a central point, a stage will be placed from where Konstantinos Zervas will speak, while the audience is facing him.
And this time, Konstantinos Zervas will come to the elections with him “Yes to Thessaloniki” combinationwith which he had won the central municipality of the city in 2019.
With his speech on Monday, it was concluded that he gave a first impression of his program in view of the new elections. Besides, the theme of the event is: “Creating the Thessaloniki of 2030”. At the event, no persons will be presented who will fill the Zerva faction’s ballot. However, they will be present at the event with which they will certainly go along with the goal of renewing the term, while obvious symbolism and associations will arise from the political staff who will give the “attendance” at the event.
The three-year report
The mayor will spend a large part of the event making a three-year review and presenting his work in all areas, while audio-visual material will also be provided. After all, the goal of his staff is for Constantinos Zervas to speak more as mayor, presenting his work and as less of a candidate. In his speech, he must emphasize the distinctions and successes that Thessaloniki has achieved recently, especially in tourism. He will also refer to the infrastructure projects that have either progressed or have been launched for the next period, to what has been done by the administration for the daily life of the citizen and also in the critical area of cleanliness.
Reshuffle after Monday’s main event
A few days, after the central event on Monday, the mayor of Thessaloniki proceeded with a reorganization, despite the various scenarios that wanted him to make this move since September. Mr. Zervas has already made some contacts and it seems that he has arrived at the changes with the changes that will shape the shape of the administration with which he is proceeding in the last year of his term, in the final stretch for the self-governing elections.
