Chez Loustic is the name of a new restaurant that has just opened near Saint Cypriana Toulouse. A new neighborhood restaurant run by Gabriel Lasserre and Julien Marsaud.
Back to basics
At 35, Gabriel Lasserre worked for several years at Paris in the restaurant business. “I left the capital in 2020, after the covid, explains the young man. I wanted to go back to basics, to Toulouse. »
It is via a professional advertisement that he meets Julien Marsaud, a chef who has notably worked at Christian Constant. A professional crush. “We have a common vision of catering, we are very complementary”, explains Gabriel Lasserre.
“No frills” but quality cuisine
Together, they work for a year on their project. Their idea: to open an establishment in the city center of Toulouse,” a neighborhood restaurant which offers unfussy but quality cuisine, in keeping with the seasons. »
It’s finally on the living Place de l’Estrapade, Saint-Cyprien district, that the two partners will find the space that suits them. Chez Loustic opened in July 2022. “The first customer feedback is good, we are happy,” smiles Gabriel Lasserre.
Nice wine list
A restaurant that can be discovered at lunchtime with a starter, main course and dessert at 22 euros (20 euros for starter-main course or main course-dessert). With each time a vegetarian proposal, fish and meat for the starter and main course. A menu that changes every week.
In the evening, it’s à la carte, with proposals that vary every month. A fine list of wines from independent winegrowers and local spirits completes the offer with original and artisanal productions.
