Colomiers and Toulouse: two violent knife attacks
Two investigations were opened for “attempted homicides” in Colomiers and Toulouse. Two separate cases that took place on Friday evening. The stabbed victims were lucky.
A brawl broke out late Friday afternoon in a fast food restaurant in the center of Colomiers. A man came to demand accountability from a restaurant employee. The manager wanted to intervene and took punches. The aggressor, very upset, then stabbed his opponent twice.
This 33-year-old man was taken care of by firefighters with the support of a medical team from Smur 31. Hit in a leg and in the chest, he was hospitalized. “His life is not in danger”, confirms the police the day after the events.
The attacker, a 38-year-old man, was quickly arrested and taken into custody. He would have acted out of revenge, unhappy that his former companion had found support with this new man.
The custody of this suspect was to be extended this Saturday at the end of the day.
Another assault, this time on Friday evening in the Saint-Cyprien district, rue Adolphe Coll in Toulouse. A violent altercation broke out in the middle of the evening in an apartment. Two men were said to have been particularly violent and, after punching, they stabbed the 32-year-old victim twice.
One blow injured him in the hip, the other in the throat, a few centimeters from the carotid. Supported by the emergency services, this man was treated in hospital. His attackers fled in a large sedan. The security investigators are trying to understand the motivations for this violence.
