Arab newspapers: “Sadr has lost control in Basra” – ANHA | HAWARNEWS
Al-Sharq al-Awsat writes: “Sadr leader Muqtada al-Sadr stepped on his own throat by stopping his armed groups after moving with Asaib al-Haj militias in Basra.
By and large, this move was supposed to be corruption, while Sadr’s exports defined his act as destroying dominance. Two days ago, a group of activists in Basra said that the departure of the Sadr group was an attempt to get out of an already existing crisis.
Sources said consumption of the activities of Seraya al-Salam and other groups in Basra fueled anger among the masses rather than prevented it.”
