“Our population has a positive practice in the formation of temporary research teams, which is focused on the integration of the population with public organizations and partner universities. We have signed committees to form an advisory committee by eight universities in twenty-two countries. Within the framework of this event, a set of measures is being implemented aimed at including and accelerating teaching in Russian in the countries. These are annual distance Olympiads in English and regional studies, distance language schools, days of the Russian language, advanced training courses for the Russian language abroad. Our teachers give lectures and conduct classes in China, at the University of Inner Mongolia, the Uzbek State University of Foreign Languages, Al-Istiklal University in the distance.
Kalmyk State University initiated the opening of Russian Language and Culture Centers in different countries. Centers are successfully functioning in four Chinese universities, in Mongolia, official and Uzbekistan. This year is expected to open the Center for Russian Language and Culture on the way, in Benin, while studying Abome-Calavi. Together with the Uzbek University of World Languages, the master’s program “Russian Language in a Foreign Language Environment” was launched. Participants of the conference the special role of the Russian language and Russian culture in the development of intercultural communication of the Caspian Sea and the South of Russia. In the conditions of the modern language situation, the Russian language is given a consolidating role in the assessment and strengthening of state power, the historical and cultural community of different ethnic groups, residents of the Caspian Sea and in the regions adjacent to it. In light of this, the very development of a strategy for expanding the Russian-speaking space, focused on the revival, broadcasting and popularization of the Russian language and culture in the countries of the near (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, etc.) and far (Mongolia, China, etc.) is relevant. ) ) abroad.
– The work of the temporary collective team created during the conference will be focused on the theoretical and applied study of the phenomenon of the Russian language as a fundamental stabilization of benevolent moods in a multi-ethnic environment, a positive attitude towards the Russian Federation in the world community, coverage and expansion of the international presence in the international arena, – considers project initiator, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor of the RKIOD department Ellara Omakaeva.
Natalya Trukhanovskaya, Rector of the State Institute of the Russian Language named after A. S. Pushkin:
– Of course, the breakthrough that disappeared at the university, starting a few years ago with 28 foreign students, and now exceeding 1,500 is a colossal example for many other universities. I can say that few universities can boast such a breakthrough. The opening of KalmSU Russian language centers abroad is a very important step, and I sincerely wish to seize the resource, strength, and positive mood of the country in which this center is located. In my opinion, I know that this is very difficult on the part of everyone, and therefore it is very important to build a very clear system of work and not even rush to do everything at once, but consider the trend, count on the future, because the task is very obvious. With all my heart I wish Kalmyk University to realize all this. It is not in vain that we reject the agreement, of course, we will be what is necessary.
Yanina Myznikova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of the Russian Language, St. Petersburg State University:
– The problems associated with the functioning of the Russian language in a special cross-border sector of industry are once again becoming relevant, because, if not so long ago, the Russian language was losing its position to some extent, especially for the countries of the former USSR, maybe for some countries of the former socialist community, now the policy is already changing and the role of the Russian language as the language of interethnic communication is increasing. It is always important for all universities and research institutes to insist on the development of new cooperation programs in the field of the Russian language. I think that only the Caspian universities should not be accepted, but all universities of the country should be accepted as well. This is now such a leading, very important issue. Therefore, St Petersburg University should also actively get involved in the work and promote the Russian language when providing assistance related to the joint activities of universities, research institutes and enterprises at the state level. I think that the university should use this opportunity, because this energy, which the rector of KalmSU Badma Katinovich Salaev broadcasts to everyone around, embodies in specific projects, would give a good impetus to projects in the field of the Russian language, which we are going to promote .
