Registration for the Peace and Sport Awards is open
Until October 15, registrations for the 2022 Peace and Sport Awards are open for those involved in sport for development and peace.
Created in 2008, the Peace and Sport Awards recognize each year organizations and individuals who have made a significant contribution to peace, dialogue and social change in the world through sport.
Over the years, the Peace and Sport Awards have become a reference in the movement for peace through sport. The winners of these prestigious awards are indeed a source of inspiration for other actors on how to use sport as a tool for social development and peace.
Six award-winning categories
On November 30, during the Peace and Sport International Forum, the famous celebration will reward organizations and individuals for their contribution to peace through sport in six categories. April6 Initiative of the Year, NGO of the Year, Special Jury Prize, Institution of the Year, CSR Initiative of the Year and Champion for Peace of the Year.
The “Peace Champion of the Year” award, named in previous years to Rudy Gobert, Lionel Messi and Siya Kolisi, will be one of the main highlights of the awards gala dinner and will reward the exceptional commitment of an athlete for inclusion and dialogue.

Many personalities, including Prince Albert II and the vice-president of Peace and Sport, Didier Drogba, are expected at the International Forum and the gala evening of the Peace and Sport Awards.
