VENICE – An even faster way to pay for bus and vaporetto tickets. All without contact. Just pass the credit card or the counter in front of new generation validators, which will automatically treat the amount of the travel document due. Actv is gearing up for this novelty, already tested in other cities. It launched a tender for the award of the service worth over 4 million, which in June was awarded to the temporary grouping of companies Conduent – Elavon, with the parent company Conduent business solutions Italia. The result was, however, challenged in front of the TAR of Veneto by the second arrivals, Nexi Payments, with Pluriservice. These days the appeal was rejected. One less obstacle for a novelty that at this point will have to materialize.
THE PROJECT & THE COMPETITION
Avm has been working on this project for some time now. THE REMEMBER TO THE TAR
