Ready for prog Toulouse festival: metal fans will roar at Bascala

The Cultur’Prom association is organizing the fourth edition of the Ready For Prog Festival on Saturday October 29 in the Bascala hall in Toulouse-Bruguières.
Dedicated to progressive metal, this unique event in France remains faithful to its initial objective: to program international groups recognized and respected in their musical style and to offer a showcase to one or more French groups, while maintaining the conviviality and proximity of a festival on a human scale. With an even richer and more varied program than in previous years, the 2022 edition of the Ready For Prog Festival is already shaping up to be the unmissable Prog metal event of the year. The Tunisians have established themselves as big names in progressive metal. Their skillfully balanced mix of power metal and oriental music earned them well-deserved international recognition, and their stage performances are always colorful. They promise us a show that will fill the eyes and ears of festival-goers, as only they know how to do.
It’s the progressive metal event of the year!
Two Swedish combos are also on the program. The Seventh Wonder musicians, who have practically never played in France, perform their very first concert in Toulouse to defend their sixth album, “The Testament”. Another Scandinavian band, Scar Symmetry is also eagerly awaited by fans. Then will come the French from Klone, the assurance of a performance rich in emotions. In 23 years of existence, they have performed on the biggest international stages. Chills guaranteed! The Italians of Kingcrow will not be outdone. An edition of the Ready For Prog Festival without them would be a bit like a cappuccino without milk. The Orient will also be well represented. With the Lebanese Turbulence, pure technical and melodic progressive metal. A German group Art Against Agony will give an avant-garde touch of jazz to the festival.
