Marsilio today in Rome invited to the meeting of the Council of Ministers
(REGFLASH) Rome 5 October 2022 – The president of the Abruzzo Region, Marco Marsilio, was invited today to participate in the meeting of the Council of Ministers where the Government had placed on the agenda the ‘Construction and operation of the work called Sulmona pipeline -Foligno ‘.
During the meeting, the decree aimed at overcoming the failure to consider the agreement as regards the Foligno-Sulmona pipeline was presented. President Marsilio in the Council of Ministers represented the requests coming from the territory and the critical issues that have been expressed over time, retracing the long and troubled process of this work. At the end of the meeting, he asked the Government, and through the Government to Snam, to take all the necessary compensatory measures following the construction of the work. It was therefore reiterated that the work itself does not serve Abruzzo, which receives gas from the nation both from the north and from the south, but it is a strategic work for the whole, as subsequently reiterated by Minister Cingolani.
