Terre di Pisa Food & Wine festival turns ten
Great waiting for Pisan food and winethe event dedicated to the promotion of the products and colors of the Terre di Pisa territory, which this year turns 10 and returns to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II from 17 of Friday 14 October at 9pm on Sunday 16 October.
Beyond 80 agri-food producers and wineries of the Terre di Pisa have joined the event of the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Tuscany will welcome the public with typical tastings and delights at “Zero Km”, offering the possibility to buy the products directly: cheeses, cured meats, pasta, truffles , honey, chocolate, sweets and preserves, oil, wine, beer and spirits.

Pisa Food & Wine is not just the exhibition market, but a rich calendar with more than 40 events between wine masterclasses, chocolate masterclasses, liqueur workshops, showcooking, guided tours of wines, cold cuts, cheeses and oil led by experts from AIS and FISAR, ONAF, ONAS and ASCOE, and much more: an all-round experience with tastings embellished with stories and curiosities about the history of the products, the organoleptic characteristics and many little secrets of the transformation process to make your trip unique.
Pisa Food & Wine is also an opportunity to deepen the knowledge of the products thanks to proposals from restaurants and bars of dedicated menus, where raw materials are the protagonists of contemporary or traditional dishes paired with DOC Terre di Pisa wines.
At the Festival, taste is combined with greets at the table, in the name of well-being and the joy of being well; numerous initiatives carried out in collaboration with the Nutrafood Center of the University of Pisa (workshops, games and quizzes, information on conscious purchases and consumption in the food sector) and a showcooking dedicated to intolerances to learn about new and healthy recipes.
An event not only for adults but also for the little ones with a program of recreational and educational activities on nutrition and tasty snacks, as well as “circooking” circus arts workshops.
