San Marino: the plan of the Rimini Pantani on Wednesday at the “Titano”
The beautiful interview-concert with the lady of dance Liliana Cosi (Dancing I wanted to be the music), held on Sunday 2 October at the Titano Theater, was a truly unique opportunity to hear the stories and anecdotes of a brilliant career of a great étoile . As will the next appointment of the Autumn Music Festival 2022, Wednesday 5 October, at 9 pm, at the Titano Theater in San Marino.
The protagonist will be a young performer, Nicola Pantani from Rimini, who will present a program of rare beauty: Schwanengesang (Swan Song) by Franz Schubert. It is a cycle of 14 lieder written in 1828, the year of the great composer’s death, which takes us into the world of the first German Romanticism.
The title of the collection, but also that of the individual lieder, evoke feelings such as the nostalgia for spring, for the distant beloved, for friends and lost affections, or the dramatic tones in the broad sense of human suffering. Franz Liszt’s arrangement of Schubert’s Schwanengesang, on the other hand, provides insight into Liszt’s understanding of what is beyond the notes. Liszt’s “song without words” are “surprising, terrifying, grandiose, intimate, full of life and yet often pale as death”. (C. Çakmur).
Nicola Panrtani is a young concert player who has established himself as a winner in numerous competitions and in particular we point out the 2017 Casella Prize as part of the XXXIV edition of the Venice Prize and in 2019 the first prize at the 11th edition of the “Franz Liszt” International Piano Competition. He gives concerts in prestigious halls and for important concert institutions.
