Salzburg coach Jaissle complains about a long-term injury – football
FC Red Bull Salzburg will not be able to rely on striker Fernando for a long time.
After “Bullen” coach Matthias Jaissle recently revealed that the thigh injury that the Brazilian suffered while warming up before the Champions League game at Chelsea is worse than expected, the German will be more specific on Saturday.
At the press conference after his Mozartstadt team played against LASK (game report>>>), Jaissle explained with a depressed expression: “Unfortunately, Fernando falls into the long-term injury category. It’s not an issue for the next few weeks. It’s very bitter and a shame for us as a team because he was in an excellent mood.”
Kameri also got it worse than expected
Dijon Kameri’s shoulder injury, which the 18-year-old picked up in the pre-international draw against SK Rapid, also turned out to be worse than expected. “He is now in advanced training. We have to see how he reacts to the additional strain,” said Jaissle about his youngest protégé.
On Monday, Kameri will start individually with the ball for the first time, but according to his own statement on “Sky”, an appearance in the Champions League games against Dinamo Zagreb could be scarce.
