Café Europe: How is life on the Slovak-Hungarian border?

The coronavirus pandemic and closed borders have revealed how lively the relations are in the border regions of the member states of the European Union. Good neighborly relations are not based only on cheaper refueling or continuation of work.
How do the residents of Komárno live on the border with Hungary? How does cooperation between municipalities work and what are its biggest advantages and pitfalls? Do local governments use the full potential of financial aid from the European Union? Where is the line between foreign government aid to minorities and interference in the internal affairs of a neighboring state?
