Barcelona, 38 – RK Celje, 30
Barça remains the leader of Group B of the Champions League after beating RK Celje, champion of Slovenia, 38-30 at the Palau Blaugrana in a clash in which the azulgranas signed a partial of 11-3.
The saves by Emil Nielsen (7), 11 goals by Dika Mem, unstoppable from his shots, and 7 by Hampus Wanne in very fast actions have been lethal for a rival who has not been able to stop the Barça ‘roller’.
Carlos Ortega has rested pivot Artur Parera, while Celje has had the significant loss of left-handed winger Tim Cokan, one of the most effective players on their front line.
