The center-left also loses in Emilia-Romagna: the coalition took three points less than the center-right and lost the challenge of the colleges, which ended 3-2 in the House and 6-5 in the Senate. Despite this, Emilia-Romagna remains the place where the Democratic Party and the center left (36%) keep better and where the center-right (39%) breaks through less: the sum of the percentages of the parties of the winning coalition is in fact lower than that taken by Lucia Borgonzoni at the regional two and a half years ago.
AND’ the only region where the Democratic Party remains the first party with 28% and where allies are also stronger than the national average. In the center right at boom of Fratelli d’Italia counteracts the disastrous League that stops at 7.8, exceeded both by the 5 Star Movement (9.8%)both from Action (8.3%). In the colleges, the center-left holds mainly in the central part of the Region.
To the Senator Pier Ferdinando Casini in Bologna and Enza Rando in Modena win, while the League’s Elena Murelli in Parma and Fdi exponents Alberto Balboni and Marta Farolfi in Romagna. To them are added the elected with the gradual, yet to be formalized: there will certainly be Sandra Zampa, Graziano Delrio and the regional councilor of Fdi Marco Lisei. At the Camera the center-left wins in Bologna with the former mayor Virginio Merola which leads the center-right by 20 points, in Imola with Angelo Bonelli, in Reggio Emilia with Ilenia Malavasi and in Carpi with Andrea De Maria. Success in Ravenna, for the representative of the center-right Alice Buonguerrieri, while in Rimini the former mayor Andrea Gnassi gives way to the Northern League player Jacopo Morrone, but will still fall with the proportional. The center-right makes a coat in the areas where it is historically stronger: in Piacenza with Tommaso Foti (Fdi), in Parma with Laura Cavandoli (Lega) in Ferrara with Mauro Malaguti (Fdi). Gloria Saccani snatches the election in Forlì, while Daniela Dondi in Modena overtakes Aboubakar Soumaoro. At the progressive stage, pending the definition of the office of the elected representatives, the election of Elly Schlein, vice president of the leading region, as independent for the Democratic Party in the Bologna college is confirmed.
