Who would’ve believed that ? Open a restaurant that offers a “100% raw” menu, you had to dare! More than a year after the opening of his restaurant in the center of Toulousethe team of Crulottes However, it seems to have won its bet.
A cheeky concept!
“Word of mouth works well! We have received very positive feedback and that’s what drives us”, rejoices Marine Juchetthe manager of the establishment located close to the Halle aux Grains.
Because the concept, damn cheeky, can sometimes dampen the enthusiasm of some customers without avoiding them through raw cuisine. “You have to have the audacity to go through the door, but once they come, our customers are reassured by what they have on their plate! “, underlines the restorer. It must be said that the cuisine is worked with taste: tartars, ceviche, tataki, gravlax… anything goes!
And now, the food truck!
To continue on its product, Les Crulottés recently launched a food truck – to the resolutely vintage truck – in order to make discover their cuisine beyond the city center. “The project was under the carpet when the restaurant opened. So we decided to launch! We offer a street version of our flagship dishes”.
We thus find on the menu (which changes very regularly) the best tartars of the moment (the Italian, the Iberian, the Gersois, the Norwegian…) a place cevicheof the thrust (vegetarian or salmon). On the price side, count 12.50€ for a dish and 14.90€ for a formula with drink and dessert.
The food truck travels in particular to Blagnac (at Safran, or even Airbus) but also at Toulouse (Thursdays at Place du Marché aux Cochons des Minimes, Fridays at Place Arnaud-Bernard), lunch only. It is also possible to call on Les Crulottés for private events.
