MICHALOVCE – 30-year-old Russian defenseman Ivan Glazkov has joined the hockey team of HK Dukla Ingem Michalovce. It will be his second career in the highest Slovak competition, in the 2021/2022 season he wore the shirt of Prešov. Michalovský klub informed about the new acquisition on social networks.
Glazkov played a total of 35 matches in the extra league year 2021/202, in which he recorded 1 goal, 11 assists and 12 penalty minutes.
“Ours came with the request that we need one more versatile defender, who we could use in weakening but also in reinforcements. We had Ivan in our sights before the season, so I’m glad that I managed to complete this transfer.” said the sports manager of the Michalov club, Marek Mashlonka.
After the arrival of Glazková, the Michalov team has one more place for the legionnaire. There are currently six foreigners in the squad, while a maximum of seven can play in one match. The team had a good start to the season, when it was the only one of all extraliga players to get a full six points in the first two games and is on the table. Before the 2021/2022 season, Glazkov prepared with HK 19 Humenné, for which he also played in the preparatory matches.
