The Triathlon des Roses, this Sunday, September 25 in Toulouse
This Sunday, September 25, the Triathlon des Roses takes place in Toulouse. The goal is to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Organized by the ARC Foundation, the Triathlon des Roses stands out as a solidarity course dedicated to women, the aim of which is to raise funds for breast cancer research. On Sunday, September 25 in Toulouse (Les Argoulets), hundreds of participants will set off to take up a real sporting challenge around a course combining swimming, cycling and running. This new edition will be sponsored by Denis Brogniart, host of the show Koh-Lanta. This popular event will be combined this year, for the first time, with an inter-company challenge.
Before being a sporting challenge, the Triathlon des Roses is an incredible solidarity and festive event. Preceding by a few days the annual information campaign in favor of early detection and the fight against breast cancer “Pink October”, it has 2 objectives: to raise funds to support research on breast cancer and to inform about advances in research.
The challenge proposed by the ARC Foundation will once again live up to its ambitions. The participants will thus follow 3 disciplines, solo or in teams: swimming (100 m in Toulouse), cycling (6 km in Toulouse) and running (2 km in Toulouse). To help them go to the end of their efforts, physiotherapists will be present and will provide massages to the athletes, in order to help them recover.
A race open to all!
The Triathlon des Roses is a race with accessible distances in which all women can participate. However, to take the start, participants in the Parisian edition must collect a minimum of €300 individually and €500 as a team, donated to breast cancer research programs. In Toulouse, the registration fee is €50 per person, which is also reversed to cancer research.
