10 cars and 5,000 m² burned
About fifteen firefighters, as well as three machines, including two forest fire tank trucks, were mobilized for this intervention. When help arrived, ten light vehicles were impacted by the flames. “The fire from the 10 carcasses of vehicles spread to a grass field, burning an area of approximately 5,000 m2”, indicates the SDIS 31 to The Independent Opinion.
About thirty minutes after the alert, the firefighters indicated “the plant space fire is fixed, however the intervention will be long-lasting for the cooling of the carcasses”. Emergency services are still on site. No injuries were reported.
