After this accident, a risk of blockage on the Toulouse ring road
At the time of publishing these lines, the showmen who demand a location to receive the Saint-Michel festival have not yet put their threats of blockages on the Toulouse ring road into execution. This Monday, September 19, between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., they could start from the Toulouse-Nord toll booth to join the ring road.
The fairgrounds of the Saint-Michel festival have already organized a similar operation on Friday, September 16. This triggered the anger of the mayor of Toulouse Jean-Luc Moudenc (LR) as shown by a letter unveiled Thursday, September 15 by the communication service of the municipality.
“Obviously, you prefer to force through, as evidenced by your announcement, dating back several weeks, to block the roads of our agglomeration (…). All this constitutes a way of acting of nature to prevent the creation of a climate of trust between us, ”writes the city councilor.
