“We are a nation that knows the veteran and the veteran’s highest rank.” Yerlikaya said that the Sakarya Pitched Battle was one of the most important turning points in the history of the world.
After that unmatched victory, Yerlikaya stated that the architect of the victory, Bakomutan Atatrk, the title of “veteran” and the rank of “mareality” was conferred by the Turkish Great Nation in the 19 September Assembly, “In Manzikert, Ankara, Sakarya, Cyprus, Today, those who are on duty along the borders, in Syria, Iraq, the Mediterranean and in many other regions are the children of the same spirit, the same ancestors. A thousand greetings to all of them,” he said.
“WE ARE ONE HEART, ONE BLEK ON JULY 15”
Stating that the Gazi would be an example of a superior sacrifice, Kaya noted the following:
“As throughout history, we became one heart and one wrist on July 15. We left with great honor for the indivisible unity of the homeland and the peace, security and well-being of our people. This paradise, we call this holy life, rises on the courage and fortitude of the hero. Our consciousness and our excitement to transfer this trust to the future with the same sensitivity lies in this responsibility. Our veterans have written many epics with this awareness. May our veterans and all veterans be pleased.
May their lives be long and epics always. May our veterans, who have attained martyrdom’s brothers, rest in peace, and may their rank be Ali.”
