Belarus and Russia have already agreed on 8 import substitution projects. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Pyotr Parkhomchik at a meeting with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexei Uchenov, the press service of the government reported.
“It is probably very important that almost all 14 projects received confirmation and interest from the Russian Federation. As of today, eight projects have been approved and are in the Development Bank for financing”– he said.
Parkhomchik also noted that pragmatic relations are being built between the enterprises of the two countries. He cited as an example the interaction of Belarusian industrial enterprises with KamAZ.
“First of all, this is just MAZ and KamAZ. Issues of unification of the production of freight transport, passenger transport are discussed. We are very pleased that our “Horizon” has joined in this work, which began to produce panels for KamAZ”– he said.
Parkhomchik also mentioned the participation of BelOMO and BMK holdings.
