Ukraine sold more than UAH 4 billion of electricity to the EU

As reported, from June 30 to September 18, Ukraine exported more than UAH 4.1 billion of electricity to Europe.
“At the same time, the export of electricity in the first two weeks of September set a trade record – $131 million. The indicator comes right after the traditionally large volumes of agricultural production,” – writes the press service of Ukrenergo.
It is noted that in the last week the available volume of crossings to Slovakia and Romania was sold in full. Since September 5, its total value is 300 MW during the day and evening years (with maximum consumption) and 250 MW during the night.

“On the adjacent spot markets, prices continue to decrease. On a day-ahead basis, the average baseload price market in Romania from September 12 to 17 was around €386.8/MWh, and in Slovakia – €442.6/MWh. , then a week earlier they amounted to €412.9 and €446.2, respectively,” the company’s press service writes.
It is also noted that on the Ukrainian market “a day ahead” the price of the base load has increased and in the last days was €88-89/MWh.
“Against this background, compared to the previous week, the weighted average price of access to the interstate crossing decreased to 8.1 thousand UAH/MWh (-12.9%). The highest marginal price in some years was 16 thousand UAH/MWh in the direction of Slovakia on September 13 (in the 20th year).
- On September 14, the chairman of the board of NEC “Ukrenergo” Volodymyr Kudrytsky noted that after the liberation of the entire territory, Ukraine plans to open a Russian check for the damages caused by it.
- The main legal company Kudrytskyi also at the briefing confirmed that Ukrenergo receives backup power supply routes in case of Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
