Saint Orens. Toulouse à Table closes its 2022 edition
The 2022 edition of the Toulouse à Table gastronomic festival is coming to an end, and the festivities will take place in the gourmet hall of Saint-Orens-de-Gameville. As usual, the event to be held this Saturday, September 17, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., will showcase local products.
His comeback was at the Union on September 2, his closing will be in Saint-Orens-de-Gameville, this Saturday, September 17. For this 2022 edition, Toulouse à Table therefore varies the places of feasts of its festival, since it is the first time that it is held in the commune. This association organizes since 2014 events around gastronomy and local produce.
And this weekend, the gourmet festival invites lovers of local products and the pleasures of the table from 6 p.m., rue du Centre. Dominique Faure, the former mayor of Saint-Orens, now Secretary of State for rurality, will be present at the event.
In the kitchen, many food trucks of Toulouse and its surroundings will be on site: Afrik’n truck, La Cabane, Pass à la Maison, Chez Pelé and Tondu, So Piad’in… The restaurant Le Keudu, and the traders of Les Halles de Gameville, Délices by Pitchilona and d’à Travers Champs are also associated with the event.
Entertainment around Toulouse à Table
In the evening, animations are carried out at the gourmet hall. A band will take care of the musical atmosphere. A South West wine tasting is organized, and a refreshment bar will be available.
But September 17 is also heritage day. And before heading to Toulouse à Table, festival-goers are also invited to discover the history of Saint-Orens. A podcast will be broadcast by the City at Espace Lauragais at 5 p.m., followed by a conference on the memory of the town.
