They have stumbled on this enigma for seven years. Seven long years of wondering who the DNA collected on the effects of a young woman could have belonged to rape victim, in 2012, in Toulouse. But investigators from the crime squad departmental security have never given up.
A phantom DNA
L’student at Paul-Sabatier University was not the only victim of their ghost, whose profile did not appear in the national file of genetic fingerprints (FNAEG). In 2016, the same DNA was taken from a young woman who was the victim of a violation. His profile was similar. The procedure corresponded.
But in the absence of witnesses, the police could only brood over their frustration. You will have to wait until the deviant reoffends so that luck finally smiles on them. In September 2018, a new student from Paul-Sabatier was the target of a sexual assault on her way home.
He leaves her… his phone number!

He is a territorial official of 54 years old, single, working for the Regional Council of Occitanie. Son DNA is identical to that of the rapist of female students.
