Garry Kasparov, author of the book “Winter is Coming”: “In the past, defense against military aggression was carried out by other means, but today the defense of the border is carried out with the help of advanced technologies with means that increase more effective and comprehensive protection of more low cost and with much less labor. Israel is one of the most advanced technological powers in the world today in this field, and the countries of Southeast Europe will have an exceptional opportunity to meet close to the world’s leading companies in cyber security and defense”.
The two-day conference aims to address the issues and challenges facing countries in the region, in the context of ongoing instability and significant changes in military policy, and the huge increase in defense spending.
The first day of the event will focus on panel discussions and presentations by high-tech Israeli companies. Within the second day, there will be an opportunity to organize individual business meetings with Israeli companies and representatives of the executive power and businesses in the region.
“The goal of IMPROVATE is to make innovation and high technology accessible to the market worldwide. The war in Ukraine has created a huge demand for defense and cyber technologies among countries in the region. We decided to hold IMPROVATE Defense&Cyber as a regional conference where the leading Israeli companies in the field can present their solutions. We hope that the conference will create fast connections that will strengthen the defense of the region,” says IMPROVATE President Irina Nevzlin.
