The Capitole Christmas market will be extended to other areas of Toulouse: here’s who

From November 25, 2022, and then for one month, the Capitol Square a Toulouse will live to the rhythm of the magic of Christmas with the return of Christmas market.
A hundred exhibitors are expected for this 2022 edition, which will also be the last in this version centered around the town hall.
“Open the market to other places and districts”
From Christmas 2023, the Capitole market will still be presented on the Place du Capitole, but it will spread elsewhere in town.
“Open the Christmas market to other squares and other Toulouse neighborhoods”: This was the will expressed by the candidate Jean-Luc Moudenc during the municipal campaign of 2021. This will be done in 2023.
“A new public market will be launched and the Christmas market will be extended to several other sites in Toulouse. The same operator will be in charge of managing these different markets which will be set up in several places with a spirit which will be, each time, that of a Christmas market”, announces to Toulouse News Olivier Arsac, the deputy in charge of shops at the town hall of Toulouse.
The chosen sites
Food, crafts from around the world, jewellery, games and toys, decoration, clothing… These markets set up in several places in the Pink City are able to eat, buy gifts…
Here are the locations where the Capitol Christmas Market will be extended:
- Square de Gaulle
- The Ramblas of Jean-Jaures
- The Jules Guesde alleys
- St. Peter’s Square
- Place du Salin
