In fact, in accordance with the circular letter dated 5 July from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, African Integration and Guineans Abroad, the Council of Guineans in Belgium is going to proceed with the renewal of office son. An office that serves as an interface between the Guinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Guineans residing in Belgium.
Thus, it is with an ardent desire to serve the dynamic Guinean diaspora in Belgium that Bassamba Diallo is seeking the presidency of the CGB. He is very aware of the level of integration and participation of the Guinean community in the socio-economic development of Belgium. And, he is fully aware of the great contribution of the Guineans of Belgium in the construction of Guinea through investments in various growth-enhancing areas. This is why Bassamba Diallo wants a better price taking into account the aspirations of the Guinean diaspora in Belgium in the decision-making bodies in Guinea.
“I am a candidate to further involve this Guinean diaspora in Belgium in the socio-economic development of Guinea,” says Bassamba Diallo.
Bassamba Diallo undertakes, if you give him your confidence to elect him President of the Council of Guineans of Belgium, to “bring together all Guineans residing in the three regions (Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia), promote solidarity and consensus, ensure the inclusive management of the problems that concern our fellow citizens, promote the representativeness of the diaspora in the decision-making system in Guinea, promote the economic partnership between Guinea and Belgium through the creation of a housing bank and the organization of economic forums in Belgium and Guinea, safeguarding the visibility of the Guinean diaspora in Belgium, advocating for the return of consular and administrative affairs from the Belgian embassy to Conakry (instead of Dakar), bringing all compatriots together and to ensure that the Guineans of Belgium were a common goal to solve their problems as Guinean citizens by taking into account only the interest of Guineans”.
