Eight hours of national strike. On Friday 16 September, from 8.30 to 16.30, the workers of Atac, Roma Mobility Services, Cotral and Roma Tpl, together with those employed in most of the Tpl companies in Lazio, cross their arms.
According to what is learned, the reduced notice would have been possible on the basis of article 2, paragraph 7 of law 146/90. The article reads: “The provisions of this article regarding minimum notice and indication of duration do not apply in cases of abstention from work in defense of the constitutional order, or in protest for serious harm to safety and security. of workers “.

No trains and buses for 8 hours
As a result of the initiative, which was signed by Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uil Trasporti and Ugl Fna, all urban and suburban car, underground and tram services remain stationary. In other words, no useful departure is foreseen from the terminus during the eight-hour strike that also affects public transport in Lazio.
The strike, according to the acronyms that signed it, is called “due to serious events damaging the safety and security of workers”. The ticket office staff and all office workers, traffic auxiliaries, office and traction staff also crossed their arms in protest and solidarity.
The resumption of service for the Atac
At the end of the strike it must be made from the deposit or remittance of belonging in the following ways:
Automobile and trolleybus service: 30 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the start of the warranty periods;
Tram Service: from 30 to 50 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the beginning of the guarantee periods;
Metro A service: from 30 to 90 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the start of the guarantee periods;
MetroB-B1 service: from 30 to 120 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the start of the warranty periods;
Metro C service: from 30 to 45 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the start of the warranty periods;
Rome-Lido service: from 30 to 90 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the start of the guarantee periods;
Rome-Pantano and Rome-Viterbo services: from 30 to 60 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the start of the guarantee periods
Additional support staff, when providing the service: 15 to 30 minutes before the end of the strike and / or the start of the warranty periods
Saturday 17 September, free vehicles
On Saturday 17 September, the public will be free of charge on all Atac vehicles, on the subway and surface, throughout the city. Saturday 17 September will not be a simple opening for free circulation on vehicles and with the metro gates deactivated but also a day of information communication on public transport, including the distribution of themed gadgets by Atac staff in the main stations, starting from Termini, and in the terminus.
