Venice 79: Giusy Buda’s medium-length film “Tutto in un Battito” was presented at Cinema Giorgione
Sicilian stylist and writer, Giusy Buda arrives at the Cineasta del Comune di Venezia with his medium-length film “All in a heartbeat”, Taken from the book of the same name inspired by the legend of the Moors, where the author transforms a tale of blood into a love story, uniting the Moors in a love that will last for centuries. The medium-length film, in fact, was screened at the Municipal Hall of Giorgione Cinema in Venice during the 79. Biennale International Film Festival.
“This experience was truly suggestive that I am proud – says Giusy Buda – and that I will not forget. I would never have believed that my book, and consequently the medium-length film, written to arrive without thinking about what and where it would lead me, would take me to an engaging and exciting context like that of the Filmmakers of the Municipality of Venice. After the presentation in the Municipal hall of the Giorgione Cinema, the medium-length film will be screened in other cinemas and in other events such as Corti in Cortile ”.
“But definitely my biggest win – concludes Giusy Buda – it is seeing the emotion that they arouse in people especially in times like ours where how we stop to think that how beautiful it is to feel sensations how much they make us feel good, because they are too busy with the frenzy of everyday life “.
The medium-length film was produced by Giusy Buda and the executive production was made by CinemaSet and curated Marcella Pennisiwho also took care of the screenplay together with Chiara Aliverninidirected by Gabriele Cashleading actors Michele Segal And Marina Evangelistawho walked on the Red Carpet in Venice bringing with her the beautiful silk foulard made by Giusy Buda herself.
The film was shot in western Sicily, Mazzata del Vallo, the Erice Valley and Rome where, in the beautiful panorama of the Gianicolo, the final scene was shot. “All in a beat” will be the protagonist of the opening of the 15th edition of the competition “Courts in the Courtyard“, Which will be broadcast, Wednesday 21 September at 19.00, in the filmmaker section at the Palace of Culture of Catania with free admission for all those who will have the pleasure of viewing the film project.
