The official announcement was made this Monday morning by Prince Albert II: Princess Charlene becomes the new president of the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) of Monaco.
Information received when the princely couple were in Peille, not far from Mont Agel, to lay the first stone of the future Monaco SPA refuge, which will be able to accommodate around sixty dogs and cats abandoned in this building, at the end of the year 2023.
Having become president of the Monaco SPA, Princess Charlene is taking up a post left vacant since the death of Baroness Elizabeth-Ann de Massy in 2020.
