Full box for the Academy!
Respectively opposed to Grenoble and Istres, our U17 and U19 largely won this weekend. Throwback to these two great victories of the young shoots of the Academy!
A full box! After a lackluster last weekend (a draw and a loss), our U17s and U19s resumed their march forward this weekend by beating Grenoble (4-1) and Istres (0-4) respectively.
The U19s as patrons!
A week after the draw conceded at home against Toulouse (2-2), Frédéric Barilaro’s men did not go into detail at the Parsemain stadium in Istres yesterday afternoon! Indeed, Lisandru Olmeta’s partners won 4-0! Despite being level on points with their adversary of the day at the start of the match, the Red and Whites immediately set their pace. From the second minute of play, Béchir Yacoub finds the opening on a pass from Eliesse Ben Seghir.
The Istreans did not recover and conceded three other goals through Eliesse Ben Seghir – definitely in the oven and the mill – Edan Diop and an own goal from Grenoble Morlaye Camara. A clear and flawless victory! Thanks to this success, our U19s moved up to 4th place in the standings with 7 points in four days. Congratulations guys and see you next week for the reception of Blagnac, last in the ranking.

Our U17s all in control
Opposed to Grenoble at the Stade du Prince Héréditaire Jacques, the players trained by Manu Dos Santos were surprised at the start by the GF38 (0-1 10th). But three minutes later, Nacim Dendani equalized and tied the two teams. From then on, the meeting was one-sided: a double from Aladji Bamba and a new achievement from Nacim Dendani allowed our U17s to win 4-1 and take third place in the standings! A magnificent performance to improve on the lawn of Saint-Priest next week as well.
