Good news for Inter and AC Milan
There is good news for AC Milan and Inter as according to the reports, the local council has approved the latest version of the Stadio di Milano proposal to replace Stadio Meazza. The project has gone through many different drafts in recent years, with both clubs always keen to share the costs and revenue of a single arena.
According to Calcio e Finanza, the board gave the green light to the latest version of the proposal, which was delivered on September 5. This will now be sent to the national commission for public debate, they will have to give the green light before it can then be debated in the city of Milan. The proposal improved on the last version by providing 50,000 square meters of nature to break up the landscape. It also reinforces the structure of a sports district, known as Cittadella dello Sport, and access to the underground car park near the stadium.
