Monaco Takes Part in the European Week for Waste Reduction for the 4th Consecutive Year
The Department of the Environment is looking for bearers of actions in terms of awareness-raising or animations.
Ecology, always at the heart of the Principality’s concerns. From November 19 to 27, 2022, the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWRW) will be held, in which Monaco will participate for the fourth consecutive year.
A week dedicated to awareness and sustainable management of resources and waste in all member countries – European or not. Once again this year, Monaco wishes to make its contribution and reaffirm its ecological commitment.
The Department of the Environment is therefore looking for bearers of actions: awareness-raising or events, for the general public or for a targeted audience (colleagues, employees, members of an association, students, etc.), all ideas are welcomes. The theme of this edition will be: “Circular and sustainable textiles”, under the slogan “Waste is outdated!” »

The opportunity to recall the strong environmental impact of the textile industry and to think about more eco-responsible solutions, from production to distribution, use and after-use.
The Department of the Environment is eagerly awaiting new ideas, whether or not they correspond to the theme of the year. Only instruction: the animations must be aligned around the “3 Rs”: Reduce / Reuse / Recycle waste or be a collection operation.
