New refusal to comply: the police face armed suspects in Toulouse
The police experienced a new muscular intervention last night, with a refusal to comply involving armed passengers.
The police officers of the anti-crime brigade (BAC) again had to face a refusal to comply which could have ended very badly, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday in Toulouse.
In the middle of the night, shortly after 5 a.m., the officers spotted a car traveling at high speed with three passengers on board. Wanting to carry out a check, they try to stop the vehicle, but the driver refuses and accelerates. A chase begins, until the accident, which occurs on avenue Jean Chaubet: the offending vehicle hits a traffic light and forces its occupants to flee on foot.
Pursued by the agents, two of them will be arrested: a man and a woman. When they arrive at the station, the police find ammunition in the arrested woman’s bag. After returning to the scene of the arrest, the officers then find the corresponding weapon: a sawed-off rifle.
Both individuals were taken into custody. The man, of Chechen origin, is very well known to the police, having already made several stays in prison.
