Halloween evening, Ice Party, giant Among Us… Events designed for and by Monaco middle school students
After being deprived of festivities for many months because of Covid-19, the young people of the Principality intend to catch up! The Town Hall presented this Thursday morning the three major events to come, imagined by the teenagers of Charles III College.
On the occasion of the 5th edition of the Communal Junior Project (PCJ), the pupils of the 4th class of the Charles III College have imagined several activities for the start of the school year, accessible free of charge or at low prices. “When an idea retained several voices in the class, the students got together to set up the project, with a small funding budget, planned dates… As if they were the ones who organized it from A to Z”explains Professor Sylvie Leporati.
Of the six projects presented and validated by the Municipal Council, three were selected. The voices :
September 17: a role-playing game inspired by Among Us
The first is scheduled for Saturday, September 17. The idea is to reproduce the Among Us virtual game, the success of which developed during the first confinement, in reality, and more precisely on the lawn of Princess Antoinette Park. A great way to get gamers out!
The objective of the game is simple: identify and report imposters within the same team while having missions to accomplish together. Strategy, puzzles, mystery… Young people will have a hard time unmasking the hucksters!
The event is aimed at young people aged 10 to 17 attending school in the Principality and takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registrations are mandatory.
October 31: Halloween Party
Cobwebs and ghosts, the services of the Town Hall plan to put the package in terms of decoration for this evening which will take place at the Espace Léo Ferré on the evening of October 31st. The party will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m. Convenient, the next day is a holiday! On the entertainment side, the atmosphere will be provided by a DJ.
As in all self-respecting Halloween parties, participants must come in disguise. A Photo Booth will immortalize the scariest outfits.
A participation of 15€ will be requested. It includes unlimited soft drinks and a plate of food. A candy bar will also be available to revelers. It’s still the ba-ba for Halloween, right?
Please note that only schoolchildren and residents of Monaco from 6th to 4th grade can take part in this Halloween Party.
December 7: “Ice Party” party on the ice rink
For this last evening, the setting will be magical. The teenagers will dance, their skates on their feet, on the Monaco ice rink. Inspired by the Splash Party, this Ice Party will take place on Wednesday December 7, the day before December 8, which is also a public holiday. So young people won’t have to worry about waking up the next morning and can party until 11.30 p.m.
Around the ice rink, 12/17 year olds will find all sorts of activities, the Photo Booth, and some treats.
Again, a participation of 15€ will be requested.
