Yolanda Daz presents Sumar in Bilbao with a coffee with Atxaga, appointments with SMEs and cultural agents and a meeting
The leader of the new political platform and vice president will be promoting her project throughout Friday in the Biscan capital
Next Friday in Bilbao, Yolanda Díaz will promote her political project Sumar in an extensive day that will begin with a coffee with the writer Bernardo Atxaga and culminate with a rally in the Bilbao neighborhood of Uribarri. Díaz arrives in Euskadi with the explicit support of the general secretary of Podemos Euskadi Pilar Garrido and the parliamentary speaker Miren Gorrotxategi. And together with Daz, as a member of the organizing team, he is Lander Martinezthe coordinator of Podemos Euskadi who tried to relocate the purple formation in 2018 to recover his political influence after his spectacular irruption in the general elections of 2015 and 2016.
Yolanda Daz will reactivate this Friday in Bilbao her campaign to present the Sumar project after the summer break with an intense day that will start with photography with the writer Bernardo Atxaga. The deputy minister and the Basque intellectual will talk for more than an hour in the Biscayan capital in the first of the events scheduled by Yolanda Daz’s team, which has previously made presentations in Madrid and Galicia.
Lander Martnez, former general coordinator of Podemos Euskadi and former Basque parliamentarian, is part of the team that works for Daz and from his political consulting company is in charge of organizing the presentation acts of this left-wing platform that intends to conform in the face of the general elections of 2024. Martnez is a computer engineer and founding partner of the consulting firm Ahead-Ideas to transform. From December 2017 to February 2020 he was the leader of Podemos Euskadi and tried to relocate his parliamentary group to multiply his influence with specific agreements with the Government of Iigo Urkullu.
Lander Martínez leaves the leadership of Podemos Euskadi after the internal primaries for the election of the candidate for Lehendakari in the 2020 regional elections that Rosa Martínez and Miren Gorrotxategi disputed. Gorrotxategi based his campaign on the defense of a left-wing “tripartite” together with EH Bildu and PSE-EE, although subsequently Podemos Euskadi has repositioned itself with specific agreements such as the Basque Executive in line with the project of its predecessor.
Yolanda Díaz held two meetings with representatives of SMEs and with cultural agents during her stay in Bilbao next Friday. She will also appear before the media at noon, although the highlight of her pre-election menu in Euskadi will be the rally in the Urribarri neighborhood that will take place at 5:30 p.m.
