Corriere Fiorentino, the Tuscan spine of Corriere della Sera, presents “Strade di Firenze”, two guides dedicated to the stories of Florence, tells from Vanni Santoni and accompanied by the photos of Massimo Sestini, as a gift with the newspaper Wednesday 14 and 21 September. Corriere Fiorentino since its inception, with the column “On the Road” dedicates a weekly appointment to the rediscovery of the streets and places of the city forgotten or hidden, but of great beauty and highly evocative – explains Roberto De Ponti, editor of Corriere Fiorentino. – With the same spirit with the guides “we move away from the large squares crowded with tourists, for all unprecedented and lesser-known views, unusual evocative images.
In the two volumes of 48 pages, distributed in newsstands in Tuscany, the 40 selected streets – twenty for each book – they are all illustrated by a map and a photograph in black and white that immortalizes the great history and the great beauty of that corner of Florence. The first volume, on newsstands Wednesday 14 September, entitled “All roads lead to Florence”, will focus on the routes that lead from outside the city to the famous historic center, from via Aretina to via delle Forbici, from via Pratese to viale del Poggio Imperiale. In “All roads through Florence”, distributed free of charge on Wednesday 21 September, you will find a roundup of the most famous and significant places for Florentines, such as the very famous via Tornabuoni, via del Proconsolo or Borgo San Frediano. The initiative supported by an advertising campaign created by the Ciao! Communication and planning on RCS and on air vehicles.
