What to remember from the Princess Gabriella Challenge?
The first edition of the Princess Gabriella Challenge took place this weekend at the Espace Saint-Antoine bowling alley. Seventy-six female doublets were present.
They were nearly one hundred and fifty players. Throughout the weekend, the women’s petanque competition brought together regional pairs but also nations, including France, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland.

Ten Monaco teams also wore the colors of the Monegasque bowling club. If the French team (Nelly Peyré and Céline Lebossé) won (13-8) in the final in the main draw against Cannes (Julie Esposto and Sandy Dettori), the Monegasque doubles did not disappoint, with in particular a consoling final for the pair Chloé Pérez-Cyrielle Thivot.

Note that the Monegasque duo Aurelia Blazquez Ruiz-Myriam Chambeiron was eliminated on Saturday. The first winners of the Princess Gabriella Challenge, Nelly Peyré and Céline Lebossé were presented with the trophy by the Secretary of State, Yvette Lambin-Berti.
Next meeting for Monegasque pétanque, next October 8 and 9, where 256 triplets are expected for the Challenge Hereditary Prince Jacques, which will be held at the Monegasque bowls club and the marquee of Fontvieille.
