The 32-year-old man who, Sunday, September 4 around 6:15 a.m., was unable to control his powerful BMW in the north of Toulouse has been sleeping in prison since the night of Monday to Tuesday. Presented to the prosecution on Monday afternoon, he was indicted in particular for refusing to comply, aggravated, injured injuries with incapacity for more than three months, deliberate violation of one or more obligations of caution and driving under the influence of a alcoholic state (1.1 g of alcohol).
This driver, holder of his license and whose car was covered by insurance, was then presented to the judge of freedoms and detention. As requested by the prosecution, he was placed under a warrant of committal. His lack of history ultimately did not weigh in view of the seriousness of the facts.
Two injured still in coma
Sunday morning, after a night of partying, this man was driving fast through the streets of Toulouse with four passengers aboard his convertible. He allegedly committed several traffic offenses (excessive speed, lights not respected) and a police patrol wanted to check him. He told him in police custody that he had not noticed the police.
