A person evacuated by helicopter after an accident near Vendine on the Toulouse – Castres axis

The facts took place around 6 p.m., in the town of Villeneuve-lès-Lavaur. This Tuesday, September 6, two vehicles were involved in a circulation accident as they traveled on the N126the axis dependent Toulouse to Castres, near the village of Vendine and the border between the Haute-Garonne and the Tarn.
In total, one dozen firefighters from the Verfeil and Lavaur fire and rescue centers were dispatched to the scene, as well as the Mobile emergency and resuscitation service (Smur).
One victim evacuated by helicopter
When they arrived at the scene, the emergency services discovered two victims. Each was incarcerated in his vehicle.
The first, aged 60 yearsmust have been evacuated by helicopter in absolute emergency to the Purpan hospital in Toulouse. Less seriously injured, the second person, aged 40 yearsa meanwhile been transformed by land to Lavaur hospital.
