Toulouse. 4th edition of WateRugby at the port of La Daurade –
After a rich career on traditional rugby grounds, Yann Delaigue decided to decline its sport in a unique concept in the world, while preserving its dimension spectacular and friendly.
This is how WateRugby (pronounced “Water Rugby”) was born: an original and
quirky consisting of playing touch rugby on a floating platform covered with
synthetic lawn. No throw-in, no in-goal: water is the only limit and you have to
literally dive to score!
The 4th edition of Eden Park WaterRugby will take place from Thursday September 8th to Sunday September 11th on
Port de la Daurade in Toulouse. 4 days of rugby dedicated to all audiences: in total, more
of 600 players will tread the lawn and dive into the Garonne.
The highlight of the event, the EAU’LL STAR tournament: 40 legends of international rugby from the last 3 decades ready to wet their jerseys to put on a show!
Sport, spectacle and celebration: all the ingredients are there to live a
fantastic and 100% free “aquarugbystic” event around the values of
“l’Eau’valie”!
