The U19s attached by Toulouse, the U17s bow to Saint-Etienne
Frédéric Barilaro’s men conceded a draw against Toulouse (2-2), while Manu Dos Santos’ side lost on the narrow margins (0-1) to Saint-Etienne.
New championship weekend for the U19s and U17s. Let’s start with the protégés of Frédéric Barilaro who received Toulouse at the Stade Intercommunal Beaulieu in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, this Sunday at 11 a.m.
A draw conceded in the second period for the U19s
Against the Violets, they were hung on the score of 2-2, despite a two-goal lead at the break, after goals from Bachir Yacoub (8th) and Sandro Bertolucci (26th). Reduced to 10 shortly before the hour mark and in front of a goal at that moment, the Red and Whites ended up cracking and conceding a goal in the last quarter of an hour, synonymous with an equalizer.
This result puts them in sixth place in Pool D with four points from three games. Next match on Sunday on the lawn of Istres, ninth with the same number of units.
