The new AS Monaco Performance Center complete
This Monday, AS Monaco handed over its new Performance Center, in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
September 5, 2022 will be a milestone in the history of the Club.
At the dawn of its centenary, which will be celebrated in 2024, AS Monaco has deactivated its new Performance Center, an ultra-modern working tool for the present and the future, responding to the wishes of its President, Dmitry Rybolovlev, to offer the players of the professional group optimal working conditions.
Started in 2018 on the site of its former Training Center, the site of this ambitious project had been delivered, with the building, a first part of the installations at the beginning of summer 2021. A year later, at the end of four years of work and an investment of 55 million euros granted by President Rybolovlev, the Club du Rocher is now entering a phase of full and complete exploitation of the site.
This Monday, His Serene Highness Prince Albert-II of Monaco, Ekaterina Sartori Rybolovleva, member of the AS Monaco Board of Directors and Juan Sartori, Vice-President and member of the Club’s Board of Directors, have now acted, in the presence of 200 guests and in front of some forty journalists, the birth of the new AS Monaco Performance Center.
The Club, also represented by Jean-Emmanuel de Witt, son General Manager, Paul Mitchell, son Sporting Director, Philippe Clement, the coach of the professional group, as well as Wissam Ben Yedder, Axel Disasi, Youssouf Fofana, Guillermo Maripán, Alexander Nübel, invited several members of the Rouge & Blanche family for the occasion.
Alongside Jean-Jacques Raffaele, Mayor of La Turbie, Frédéric Genin, architect of the Center de Performance, representatives of institutions in the Principality, France and sports bodies (FFF, LFP, UNFP, Foot Unis), as well as companies that worked on the site (Vinci, Crudelli, Graniou, HEE and Garelli), former players and iconic coaches, such as Didier Deschamps, Claude Puel, Jean Petit or even Jean-Luc Ettori, representatives of supporters’ associations, The commercial partners and leaders of the club cousin of Cercle Bruges, thus declared this event which marks a major stage in the development of AS Monaco. A highlight also shared by Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, present for the occasion.
