The concerns were complicated but as announced by Météo France, localized thunderstorms did indeed break out in Haute-Garonne on Monday September 5, at the end of the afternoon.
The storm cell arrived from the west of the department. After hitting the Gers, it moved into the Rieumes, Lherm and then Muret sectors.

Hail
Hail fell in many towns in the Rieumes sector such as Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières but also further east such as Bérat, Mauzac, Lavernose-Lacasse, Lherm…
The wind blew in gusts.
The west of the Toulouse conurbation recorded some good rainfall as in Fonsorbes.
Not a big choice in Toulouse
The storm cell decreased in intensity in Toulouse where we could hear a few claps of thunder and where it made a few drops…
The disturbance then evacuated towards the Tarn, without consequence.
