When and why did the isolation of the leader Öcalan worsen? – ANHA | HAWARNEWS
Leader Abdullah Öcalan was captured on 15 February 1999 by the INF in a conspiracy involving foreclosure and capitalist states and handed over to the Turkish state. The Turkish regime has deprived the leader Ocalan of all his rights, putting him in a crisis on the island of Imrali. He also applies the most severe isolation and repression, without involving the leader in a meeting with family and lawyers.
On August 7, Asrin Law Office shared a public statement defending leader Ocalan. The statement stated that their protected regime could not be reviewed, extended and blocked for 3 years. It was also stated that all participants in the meeting with lawyers, nationals in the period from July 27, 2011 to May 2, 2019, had cases of refusal.
Turkey has intensified its terrorist attack on the Kurdish people after the terrorist threat of Abdullah Ocalan. Occupation attacks were carried out on Gira Spy and Serekaniye on October 9, 2019. The Turkish regime then stepped up attacks on the Gare, Heftanin, Zap, Avashin and Metin regions in South Kurdistan. He stepped up the concentration of genocide against politicians, journalists and activists in Northern Kurdistan.
WHEN WAS THE EXAMINATION OF ISOLATION?
The harsh attacks of the Turkish state on the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region, the capture of leader Öcalan took place after his last meeting with lawyers on August 7, 2019. At that meeting, leader Öcalan said, “Within a week, I can remove the current tension and containment, and we can take big steps towards that.”
Speaking to ANHA, leader Abdullah Ocalan’s lawyer, Nauroz Uysal, stated that there are many reasons for public leader Abdullah Ocalan: “The main pattern in the role of leader Abdullah Ocalan is successful activism. From the start of the revolution, leader Öcalan advocated for a peaceful and democratic solution to problems. This decision covers other parts of Kurdistan, all of Kurdistan and the Middle East.”
“THE SOLUTION OF THE KURDISH PROBLEM IS THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS OF THE MIDDLE EAST”
Saying that solving the Kurdish problem means solving problems in the Middle East, Nauroz Uysal returns: “Faced with many problems, the Turkish state is against democratic systems. The Turkish state views any democratic system as a struggle.”
Noting that there are systems and hegemons of the state, fighting against all known democratic projects, large or small, Nauroz Uysal said: “This system that rejects people, suppresses their rights, offers to suppress and silence and break their will to freedom. Is such power ineffective? The regime is always trying to destroy the democratic project, no matter what. “Leader Öcalan’s views on current poignancy and authority reinforce those views.”
TURKEY VIOLATES OWN LAWS
Nauroz Uysal also drew attention to the reasons why the Turkish government increased the isolation of leader Abdullah Ocalan: “The first stage of the implementation of the period from 1999 to 2016, that is, after the coup in Turkey. During this period of bad weather conditions and ships going to Imrali were broken or damaged. The encounters were returned under the pretext that the ship couldn’t or because of the surface of the environment. The second stage of the 2016 coup d’état and the announcement of the regulations in Turkey. Bursa’s Chief Prosecutor’s Office on July 20 of the same year, visits by relatives and lawyers in prisons were consumption, communication between interested Öcalan and other transactions was prohibited. These bans continued until September 20, 2018.”
Nauroz Uysal is back: “The third phase continues to this day after the end of the lockdown in Turkey in September 2018. The stage is the most dangerous. As for family visits, they gather that leader Ocalan and his comrades experience disciplinary action once every three months. There is no disciplinary investigation against lawyers. However, the Turkish authorities forbid meeting with their clients for 6 months. There is no such thing in Turkish law. We always say that a prison is a subject of the prison and affects human rights. Turkey establishes all its laws with this isolation.
Noting that leader Abdullah Öcalan has been in a strict start since April 2015 or after the suspension of the world process, Nowroz Uysal said: “We cannot get any information from leader Öcalan. According to the meeting with Turkish law, lawyers and related to law enforcement, but Öcalan is disqualified due to the scope of the provisions and other reasons.”
Nauroz Uysal recalled that since the arrest of the leader Öcalan and before the sports day, no visits were made to Turkey in accordance with the statutes and laws, and that most of the meetings with him were held only after massive anti-emission actions, such as hunger strikes or self-setting.
Imraly, Nauroz Uysal used that the right to communicate by phone was used only once and the conversation was interrupted.
“The last meeting between Potok Ocalan and his lawyers took place in 2019, 8 years later. After 5 meetings with his lawyers, the leader Ocalan wrote a 7-point letter. It was a letter for definition. During the meeting, the Turkish state was preparing to attack Rojava. At the time, leader Öcalan said, “We are resolving the current tension within a week and an arrest. The international community did not respond to Ocalan’s statement. Since then, we have not been able to meet with our defenders. All channels of communication with him are blocked.”
“THE FIRST STEP TO DESTROY THE WILL OF THE KURDS IS TO SHUT LEADER ÖCALAN”
Emphasizing that the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Öcalan is seeing the spread of the Kurdish cause not only in Turkey, but throughout Kurdish society and the Middle East, Nauroz Uysal stated that the Turkish state is against the Kurds in the ministry.
Nauroz Uysal said: “The first step to defeating the Kurdish cause is to encourage leader Öcalan to keep quiet. For this reason, they prohibit direct conversations, messages, and phone calls with them. All of these activities are unethical and illegal. These actions are against the Kurdish people and the peoples of the Middle East, it complicates the Kurdish problem.”
Nauroz Uysala noted that all freedom movements and those who overcome democratic society are afraid that the ideas of leader Öcalan when big changes occur.”
Nowroz Uysal covered her words with advice: “We couldn’t meet inspiration from Öcalan for 18 months. We see that the war has been fierce and has been going on ever since the isolation escalated. It’s in high visibility for everyone.”
