Boris Kollár claims that Slovakia will have enough gas in the reservoirs for the winter, but I agree with Petra Pellegrini’s comment that we may have a problem in the event of supply shutdowns from Russia. Markíza, the chairman of the We Are Family movement, said on TV that he is against the rules of the European Union, and in the event of complications with supplies for the next season, Slovakia would do everything to avoid having to send gas to Western countries that have stored it in our reservoirs.
Nationalize gas… but how?
The Speaker of the Parliament and the We Are Family movement also spoke about the possible nationalization of Slovak power plants. According to Kollár, it will be necessary to send energy checks to energy-poor families, but suitable proposals are still being discussed.
According to him, the new Ministry of Economy should be an expert in energy. They are talking about one name, but he did not specify it further. According to Kollár, MP OĽANO and chairman of the parliamentary economic committee Peter Kremský is not a suitable candidate, according to him, given the current situation, he may be an expert in the field of energy.
The representatives of We Are Family, OĽANO and For the People are meeting on Sunday evening to discuss the nominees who will replace the SaS ministers. They will almost certainly submit their resignations to the presidential palace on Monday.
